Sociedad Latina is looking for an ALAS Access & Success Coach that will support high school seniors & first year college students to develop college readiness skills and attitudes to persist through college, individualized case management and cohort activities. Students in the program are predominately first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds and a strong desire to build successful futures for themselves and their families. 2 STEAM Consultants (PT)

Sociedad Latina is looking to hire 2 program consultants for STEAM: 

-Arts Coordinator: a creative, organized professional with youth development and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) experience. The Arts Coordinator will lead hands-on arts projects that encourage students to express themselves, explore their cultural heritage, and become leaders in the community. Projects may include video production, urban architecture, printmaking, etc. The Arts Coordinator will also support a positive program culture through leading opening circle, homework time, and conversations with school day teachers. -STEM Coordinator: a creative, organized professional with youth development and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) experience. The STEM Coordinator will lead hands-on arts projects that encourage students to engage in scientific inquiry, design solutions to challenges, and become leaders in the community. Dance Instructor

Sociedad Latina is looking for a creative, organized professional for the position of Dance Instructor. The Dance Instructor will work in partnership with youth at Sociedad Latina to deliver dance classes that aim to build self-confidence, a sense of community, interpersonal skills and decrease obesity rates.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate student or part time employee (with previous dance and/or youth development experience) with a strong background in developing and teaching dance as well as some prior experience in youth development programs in an urban setting.
